my father in law was a pretty avid hunter back in the day and has the trophies to prove it ! His favorite has always been moose so I designed and cut this for his Father's Day present this year. I'm not entirely happy with the way his back and side came out but I don't think he will mind at all

Thanx for lookin'

Very nice pattern. I really like the subtle water and the open space on the left. Good Job

Great composition and the water rings are a nice touch. I see what you mean by the back and side, though I have no idea what you could do different. All in all, he should love it.

Once again, superb job.

Outstanding design Robert! I too like the water rings. As always we are our worst critics. I wouldn't change a thing.

Keep em coming buddy.

Thanx everyone, I spent a lot of time on that pattern and I'm fairly happy with it. Thanx Rolf for the comment on the grain. That was intentional. I actually stack cut 3 but that one was on the top and I positioned the pattern to the grain and took pot luck on the other 2 (which turned out OK as well )
I will have to ship it as he lives up North so I won't see his face when he opens it
