Default My latest attempt at fretwork

Hello everyone,

This is my latest fretwork project. The Tiger was ordered as a birthday present for someone that has a bedroom with a jungle decor.

The pattern is from the August 2005 cwwc magazine. I started cutting with a 2/0 spiral blade and ended up finishing it with a 0 spiral blade. It was a real challenge for me with the very small lines really close together.

It is only my fourth fretwork project and I learn something new with each one.

Tim

Hi Tim, Excellent cutting. I would not have done a job that well on my fourth attempt. I would not have been able to do it now using spirals. Great work. I will have to agree with Kevin though about the frame it doesn't seem to go with that cutting. That is just my opinion also. Steve

Beautiful work. The frame is too frilly or dainty for such a tough and rugged animal. You need one that is bolder.

Thumbs up tiger

Tim; very sharp cutting. I think the only problem with the frame is the glare from the flash. Greg.

Maybe that's it. It looks like something shiny and curved on the inside. The flash might be deceiving.

Looks good Tim, it looks like you have the knack for spirals too!
Thanks for sharing and keep em coming.
