Default What I've been Cutting (and a Book Endorsement)

I've been cutting tons of clocks for fair season and here's one that I cut a few of today that I kind of liked. It's cut from Brazilian cherry and hard maple. It's from the book Miniature Clocks for The Scrollsaw by Rick and Karen Longabaugh and available from Fox Chapel. For those of us who do fairs, this is an outstanding book of patterns and has already paid for itself many times over for me.

Lovely work, Kevin! I agree. That book of mini clocks has a pattern for just about everyone out there. It's a great variety of styles in one book.

Nice cutting. Strictly opinion here...................... I think that clock would look much better with a larger insert It just seems to me the clockface is so small compared to the rest of the piece. Your cutting looks great though, and Im not criticizing it, just giving my opinion. Dale
