Default Stuff to get started with - test

These patterns are some of the easier ones that folks have designed and provide a gentle introduction into scrolling.

Edit:
We discovered a minor glitch with posting the patterns. We'll speak with Bob about it on Monday.

Sue, that would be a definate maybe
I just wanted to take a small piece of the vault and see what it looked like here. I don't know what what will be better, what I did here or having an actual new topic for each pattern. I'm open to any suggestions!

Kevin:
As much as I would hate to add to your workload, I think a specific message would be great for searching purposes. (Or put several of the same type together in one message.)

If I wanted a horse pattern, it would make it easier to search with that keyword and not come up with a message with a scuba diver AND a horse.

Thanks for what you are doing to make the transition as smooth as possible. Most people would not understand the tremendous amount of work you and the others are volunteering to do.

Hi Kevin,

My vote would be to go with something like this with several patterns grouped by topic. It's a lot easier (for me anyway) to find patterns visually by their thumbnail than by a description.

Thanks for the helpful input Jim and Rob! The search is a concern for me as I would like it to be as easy as possible for folks to find what they're looking for. This particular group is the exception as these were just a group of more basic patterns for folks looking for something not too challenging to get started with. The majority of the vault is organized into more specific catergories (example, Animals/Cats, Animals/Wolves, etc.).

I'll play a bit more with different ways of adding them here and hopefully with input such as yours it will be the best possible solution for everyone.

That's a good idea...grouping them for search purposes. I like being able to see the thumbnails so I can find just the right pattern. We have a lot of patterns and this is going to be a monumental task. They are somewhat grouped in our archives now but probably should be broken down further. Still, being able to see the thumbnails is a good thing!!!! If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for what you are doing. It sure seems like a tremendous amount of work. Is there some way credit can be given to the designer?
