Then of course when the varnish dries it leaves little holes in the finish and I have to sand it down with some steel wool and do another coat.  So I tried some spray on varnish and had the same problem.  Is there a trick to stop this.  Like I said though it could be the varnish I'm using.  I don't remember the name, but it goes on kind of milky so you can see where you've put it, but dries clear.  It's good stuff, if it wasn't for the bubbles.</div>
