The latest CCA sponsored competition is now over and some pictures are up on their website.

www.cca-carvers.org

Also, just in case no one noticed - this site is now 'fixed' so that you can have higher security and still manuver without being logged out! I can now post as myself!

Outstanding carvings thanks for sharing them with us. I love caricature carving just not talented enough to do it. I especially like the cane, the hound and Miss Chevious how about posting some of your caricature carvings on picuture trail.

Thanks for sharing the updated page from CCA, the winning projects are just wonderful and I agree with Colin, the cane is a great concept, a really different style, I loved it. .....This past August I was fortunate enough to take a seminar done by three of the CCA members, Harley S., Dennis T., and Gary B., not exactly done yet with my three projects, but when I will post pics up on my attemps at character carving, loved the classes and learned alot, but more important, learned another new aspect on carving, 'characters'.....Coffeeman
