Here is two more projects I cut. Got the patterns off one of the free patterns sites. I still have to finish them. Might get creative and experiment on the finishing. Havent decided since it is my third and fourth cutting.
My saw broke down today so I had to do some creative and experimenting finishing on it instead. LOL !!! Its back up and purrin like a kitten

Nice work for your 3rd and 4th piece! Your lines are so straight!

Looks to me like you were born to scroll. You're progressing very rapidly. Keep up the good work.

I don't remember the site off hand popeye. I forgot to bookmark it. I did a goggle search for free scroll saw patterns and ran across them. I need to find it to see if they have some others though.

It makes it hard to post things like this when you got Ian and the rest posting those great pics of their complicated work. But hey we all had to start somewhere right.

They look good KY - especially that God Bless the USA plaque - my 3rd and 4th pieces weren't as complicated as that -I think you're doing great ..

popeye here is the page I got those patterns fromhttp://www.rbiwoodtools.com/freepatterns.html

I personally enjoyed doing the welcome sign because it had a variety of cuts (cutouts, curved lines, straight lines, and lettering) it really helped with learning control of the saw.

Very good job, Steve, a heck of a good start.

Circles and long straight lines are not the easiest things in the world to cut, btw.
