| Micropterus salmoides Ok it sounds good but it's a fish ..lol Fun to cut though ...
Nice pattern but with hindsight I might have liked this one better with a light wood ...

The only suggestion I have is to orient the wood grain differently......diagonally on this pattern......meaning the grain should run from bottom left to top right.......Am I confusing?????

| Ha Ha, nice name. was that the name on the pattern. looks like a bass to me. like I would now . nicely done i might add. I agree, the wood could be lighter, or the background. but still think it is nice. no matter. nice cutting too. Evie |

No you're perfectly cleaf BF - and I think you're right - only problem is I don't think it would have fit on the board I had that way round ...

| Ian I copied this pattern the other day with the express desire to do it this weekend! dude your starting to scare me lol we keep thinking of the same patterns to do but hey nice job looks like a mighty fine Bass to me what thickness of wood did you use ?

It's the "usual" 1/2 oak with a 1.8mm ply backer ... I'm gonna have to use some different wood soon ...
