I love Halloween - it's such a fun holiday - no stress of buying gifts or planning big family dinners... I have a Halloween party every year and usually make something that guests can take home with them. Puzzles are a favorite (from Tony Burn's book: Scroll Saw Holiday Puzzles - 30 Seasonal Patterns for Christmas and Other Holiday Scrolling) This year I made bats... 12 bats in all... I'm really happy with them! They are from SSW fall 2004 (issue #16) and are designed by Lynn Reno. A bit labor intensive - but they are so cute! |

Love the bats, Shannon! Quote:
My daughter is being a colonial girl, and my son is dressing up as his sister (that's gonna drive his Grandpa nuts, LOL). Should be fun.
