Default Tried my hand at pyrography...

I gave wood burning a try. Simple little design of a Napkin holder with some mice in front and swiss cheese for the back.

What ya think? My wife likes it I was surprised.....LOL

Good job on them Mike.I'm bad on not moving the pen fast enough and burning rather large areas. What type of burner did ya use?

Hi Mike - Cute design and now you're at least one more up on me mate - this is something you could say I'm burning to try.

I was mulling over buying a decent burner from the US but i think it will have to wait a little. Too many things, too little time.....

O.k., let me update here and say Great job Mike .Thats the kind I have, and they are a bugger to use! You can buy a pack of assorted tips at Hobby Lobby for around eight bucks if ya want to play around with different shading.

Nice work Mike, I have one of that type too and also bought some tips. Too awkward to use for much detail, but I don't have the funds yet to buy a pen outfit.
