Hey, George....

Nice work. It reminds me of my Christmas card puzzles. I've been making these since January. I have 63 done and am shooting for about 82 or so by 12/1. This will be our 12th year for puzzle cards. Here's a picture of the card and some of the pieces.

Merry Christmas..... Carter

Carter, you continue to amaze me with your skill and creativity. Do you ever stack cut the cards and do you use your normal 1/4 poplar ply for them?

George

Thanks George

NO and YES. I don't stack cut because I really doubt my ability to get the fine cuts (like the deer's antlers) uniform. After mounting, spraying, etc., each one takes about 25 minutes to cut - and I have all year to do it.

The wood is 1/4" poplar, oak and sometimes birch plywood.

I send out about 45 as Christmas cards. The rest are used as gifts such as by my grandkids for their teachers. Most people we know have saved them year-to-year and display them during the holidays. They're always well received and I recommend this kind of project for any scrollsawer who wants to be appreciated.
