Default Bouquet of flowers

This weekend was my 5th anniversary. According to those who know that sort of thing, that's the "Wood Anniversary". Perfect

I made my wife a bouquet of five tulips (her favourite flower). The flower heads and leaves are compound cut out of poplar and stained with acrylic paint thinned by a stain base. The grain came through very nicely on most of the leaves, but was much more subtle (and not as interesting anyway) on the flowers themselves.

(The vase is my work too, but not new and obviously not scrolled )

Excellent work--on the tulips and the glass.

Where did the pattern come from? Might just want to do one myself.
