| cardinal puzzle with pegs I did put the pegs in the cardinal puzzle I made for my neighbors mother. I think it looks a bit busy and takes away from the picture some, but if it helps her to rehab from her stroke, that's the bottom line. There are 38 pieces (pegs) in the puzzle. The pegs are 7/16 diameter axle pegs that I picked up at Michael's.

| G'day George,
It does look a little busy and I can say that because when I put pegs in some of my puzzles I think the same thing
I'm sure that the recipient will really appreciate it and, it will provide her with inspiration and assist her recovery.

| That is a good idea George!
A very nice gesture and you are right, the bottom line is the hand eye coordination.

| John, you were the inspiration for the pegs from a post you put up a few months ago. I'll let you all know how it works out since I will give it to my neighbor tonight when he gets home from work. It may take a few days to get an answer from him since his mother lives in S. Carolina.

| The pegs may appear a bit busy, but the thoughtfulness more than makes up for it. A puzzle should only frustrate from a tricky pattern, not because the pieces are (unintentionally) hard to pick up.
I'm sure your neighbor and his mom will greatly appreciate this.
