| I like it very much!! Great job! I like the black oval, but I agree that a pic with a lighter background might look better to you. I think it's excellent.

| Shazammmm, Bobbie, that is one of the prettyist roses I have Ever seen. I love how you placed your pattern to show the pettals on the grain like you did. it really does look like it is in full bloom. Wow. very nice indeed. | Thank you all for your nice comments.
I'm going to try to make another smaller version using thicker wood (this was 1/2 in.) that way I can try to really make the petals look life like.
Here is another picture with a lighter back ground.

| Gorgeous. I like the black mounting. It really sets off the rose well. The grain pattern in the petals really emphasizes their curves.
