Thumbs up Thanx Carl !

Hi gang
Contrary to popular belief I have not fallen off the face of the earth
The portrait business has really taken off for me and I have been expanding my horizons to include resawing, joining and planing rough milled wood to create my own hardwood scrolling panels . Scrolling just keeps getting better and better I keep up but rarely have time to post lately

A local woodworking friend/mentor has helped me with this mantle made from Quarter-sawn ambrosia sycamore and walnut . The corbels were designed by our very own Canadian Scroller ....who is a stone-cold genius and rose admirably to the task when I asked him to help me with some kind of dragon corbel to match my living room's gothic/medieval decor ( and that is basically all the info I gave him to go on ! )

Carl , U da man, man . Thanx so much for the time and effort

Great work Robert..cudos Carl.
If you want to build up some business here on the left coast, you could send me one of those exceptional pieces that I would grudgingly display in my living room. Of course for advertising purposes only. lol

Really good looking. I would like to see a wide angle shot of the room. It must be something, going by the description you gave to Carl.

Just wanted to echo my appreciation for a great bit of teamwork. I'd like to see the rest of the room too.
