Default Sue Mey's Flowers For Mom

Finally finished this for Mom. Plan on giving it to her this Mothers Day. It's made from 1/2" Oak with a 50/50 Tung Oil and Mineral Spirits. Here are two pics. One with a red background and the other on a table. Excuse the glare. Thanks Sue a great pattern.

Looks great! I didn't have time to make that one this year but I probably will next year.

If the tung oil is pure tung oil then it is too thick to really use on fretwork. I've got some I bought from Woodcraft that needed cutting. Now if you're using the stuff you get from Lowe's or Home Depot then it's usually already cut.

Thanks guys. Evie, it is only one cut. I put the red felt behind it to see how it looked. The other picture is of the same cut but just on the wood table.
