| Sue Mey's Flowers For Mom Finally finished this for Mom. Plan on giving it to her this Mothers Day. It's made from 1/2" Oak with a 50/50 Tung Oil and Mineral Spirits. Here are two pics. One with a red background and the other on a table. Excuse the glare. Thanks Sue a great pattern.

| Looks great! I didn't have time to make that one this year but I probably will next year.
If the tung oil is pure tung oil then it is too thick to really use on fretwork. I've got some I bought from Woodcraft that needed cutting. Now if you're using the stuff you get from Lowe's or Home Depot then it's usually already cut.

| Thanks guys. Evie, it is only one cut. I put the red felt behind it to see how it looked. The other picture is of the same cut but just on the wood table.
