Default All Done

G'day All,
Wasn't sure where to post this, but reckon I can brag that my last orders for the year are complete and ready for Santa to collect.

2 x 3pc sets of kiddies' tables and chairs.

Patterns were scrolled from 6mm mdf and then routered into the melamine.

The name plate was scrolled from 6mm MDF, undercoated, 2 coats of colour and 2 coats of clear gloss.
Super glued and screwed to the chair back.

This was one of those jobs that you look at when complete and say, 'That didn't turn out half bad".
I wasn't quite sure what it would look like while making it.

Thanks for looking.

John, what a fantastic job. The finishing is top notch and the design and colour work so well. You are right - it turned out darn good. And being your last order and still 4 days till Christmas, you are doing very well.

G'day Lois,
When the lady asked if I could put her child's name on the chair, I envisioned routing it into the front of the back. However the more I thought about it the more it didn't seem suitable.

Thanks for the kind words.

John

They are lovely. Lucky kids!. I am not sure that you should brag, it doesn't seem fair. Rolf would buy you a beer, I would feed you and get you to assist me finishing my stuff. I have a a picture to paint, 6 jigsaws to varnish and one picture to frame and varnish. Not a lot, I know, but we could have a laugh doing them together!. Is it really too far for you to "pop over", I enjoy your company. All the best to you and yours,

Sue

John, that's fabulous work. They look better than most of the stuff you can buy in the shops for kiddies and I suspect that more one generation of children will enjoy your work.
