| My newest Portrait I finished this up yesterday I am doing it as a suprise to my Pastor and his Wife will be giving it today, I used redoak 1/4" ply scrolled with #2FD spiral blades the frame is a store bought frame Attachment 3359 Attachment 3360

| thanks guys, when I put the black backer on it didn't look right at all it made him look way to young, his hair is solid white any way I presented it at church this morning and they just loved it

| It's very nice Daryl. The white was a nice creative touch for the hair.
If I may, I'd like to offer some constructive criticism ... I hope you don't mind.
Try and watch the shadows under the jaw line (especially for women's faces) as it somtimes makes it appear they have facial hair or a beard. The one you did might have been even nicer had her jaw line been an outline.
Good job Daryl and very nice of you to do for the pastor and his wife. |
