| Recent projects I needed a few gifts and made these last week. The sunflower and rose are trivets and the patterns came from the other magazine. The sunflower is cut from ash and the rose is padouk.
The turkey is a modification of a White Tail Design "circle saw" pattern. It was designed to be an outline rather than a cut out but I decided to do it this way.

| Very nice Earl, I like them all, but the Padouk-rose is my favorite.

| Love them all but the rose is very nice. What is the size of the wood you used for this trivet?

| Diane,
The ash is half inch and the padouk is a laminate of two quarter inch pieces. I appreciate the kind words, especially about the rose. That is not my favorite but I guess it is nice anyway.
The turkey is for one of my brothers-in-law and he has been feeding one all winter so I guess it is looking for corn.
