Default Off the Woodworking School

I am just taking of to go to the College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg CA to take a three week long class called "Tools and Techniques" I will get to build a wooden hand plane and learn how to use a planes and do fine joinery with hand tools.

This has been on my bucket list for a long time. I also have a list of things I never want to do. It rhymes with bucket.

Have fun at the school.
Take lots of pictures. It will be nice to see a picture of the finished plane.

WIA (Woodworking In America) will be in Winston-Salem this year. It will be mid September. That is about 2.5 hours away. I am going to at least do one day. It is kinda on my bucket list too.

Lucky you, I use hand planes all the time, and will build my very own some day too.
Eager to see yours. Have fun.
