Yea Rolf, some of us do have cold times of the year....the other night it got down to 65 and we were looking everywhere for a blanket for the bed....sorry, couldn't help myself.

A lovely looking bowl. I haven't seen the mag. so will have to keep an eye for it in the local store....didn't mean to hijack your post.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It was fun to make, even with the spiral blades. I think it was "easier" than the other bowls! Now can't wait for Carole to post her "pedal" bowl she displayed last time!

Carole, it was made for someone in mind. It is for my sister-in-law and my wife just showed it to her mother, now I have to make one for her.

Scrollerpete, got the mag last week.

Hawaiilad, no problem with the hijack thread. I like reading about everything else. It has been very nice here and if I played golf any longer, I would be playing.

We go to Mesa for the month of October every year (4years now) and my wife will retire in 3 years and will spend 4 to 5 months in Arizona during the winter.

I took my mag on our camping trip so I would have some thing to read and such. I showed my mom that bowl and she likes it so I will have to make one once I can get the angle right and the sides come together the way they should. I have the lady bug box almost done and bought some pieces of wood in Port Townsend yesterday and those are still in the camper. I can get a couple of boxes out of them. Love this bowl!

Nice Bowl!

No love for the spirals.... Sad lol.

Mike's FD-NS blades are fantastic, I love mine.

You can get use to most anything but hanging...
