Default Have a Heart.....

Started this last night, finished today. This jewelry box took about 6 hours to make. This piece is inspired by a very special 4 yr old little girl I know who just had open heart surgery yesterday. I will be giving this to her as a gift.

Now how sweet is that? Great job on the box and the sentiment is very special...

I think that is wonderful. And it's a very very special gift. It came out beautiful to boot. I love the heart pulls on it. Is this the steve good pattern? I hope the little girl came through with flying colors and she has a speedy recovery.

Thank you! Yes, I am only a beginner so I seek out free patterns. This is a Steve Good design. Her surgery went well and she is now recovering. She is in a medically induced coma for a week I believe.

I know she will love this box. And I know she will recover from the heart surgery. I had open heart surgery 2 years ago and had to go into a nursing facility after words for theraphy. The surgery takes your strength away so it takes awhile for a full recovery. I sure do pray for the little girl and she will recover from her surgery and get stronger every day. She is going to love that box and it would be nice for her to wake up and see it on the bedside table with a little trinket or two in it. Great job on the box... Take care and have a great day Fay

Excellent idea! I need to make a trinket for each drawer!
