Default As last minute as it gets for me!

It is 4:05 PM Christmas Eve and this just dried.
I am about to wrap it for my wife. I needed a box for a pair of earings.
so here it is.
From Carole's first Box book. My first one like this. Walnut box, ribbon is curly maple and mahogany (all I had on hand)

Thank you Carole!!

Merry Christmas and to all a Good night.

I gotta get that book. That box is beautiful! I too like the curly maple as it makes the ribbon look like ribbon. She is going to love and treasure it because it was made by you. Have a great Christmas. Fay

Awesome Awesome looking box Rolf. Even if she does not like the earrings she is going to love the box, but of course you are giving her two gifts in one! Thanks for sharing this great box with us.

What more can I add? You've got golden hands, and I'm touched that you chose one of my projects for your special gift.

But be careful--those bows are addictive, and everyone goes nuts trying to figure out how you bent the wood.

I just ordered the book wooden boxes by our Carole Rothman. I gotta see how those bows are made. I'm thinking they were compound cut. Am I right???? It'll be fun to give this a try. Might turn out better than my bowls are....Merry Christmas all Fay
