Default Petal Perfect

"Petal Perfect" by Robert Ardizzoni SSWC summer 2008. This is my second of these... made some changes, added a tray and divided the bottom. Also made this one a "yellow Rose" I am in Texas after all. This will be for my mother-in-laws 80th birthday! Made from Walnut, Yellow-heart, Zebra-wood and Poplar.

Sweeeeet to the max Jerry......my mom would have loved this box, yellow roses were her favorite. What did you use for a finish?

THanks Wood Dog! For the finish I used about 3 coats of danish oil followed by 3 coats of spray lacquer. Thats my favorite finish I use it on all my intarsia pieces. I will wax it real good before I give it to her this Saturday.

I love the intarsia topping as the title suggests "Perfect"
