Default Wooden Book Box

this is my version of the wooden book box that's in the Holiday issue of SSW&C..
the project and design is by Kim Braa...

the woods I used for the project are yellow heart, paudak, red oak, mahogany, cherry, maple, poplar and black walnut...

1.jpg 2.jpg 10.jpg

9.jpg 4.jpg 3.jpg

7.jpg

I did make 2 changes from the box in the magazine, I made the page lines on all three sides and I made the bottom book a drawer...

thanks for looking and following my WIP thread..

What a great project.
Added it to my to-do list, which is starting to look like a roll of TP.

Very impressive, impeccably done, and a blue ribbon winner for sure! Now all you need on top is a small platter with some cupcakes . . . .

thanks for the nice commits and your support..
now that I have decided to keep this book box, I need another project to give as a Christmas gift..

Mrs Trout and I are heading to the beach for the next 5 days but don't worry we'll have wifi and cable TV in the RV for those cold mornings and nights...
