Default Simple little slider box

I made this out of a chunk of select pine I had left over from another project. I split the slide part with a FD #5 Polar. I don't like the handle and plan on taking it off and putting something else on it.

Looking good...Pine is always hard to get a finish on it but you pulled it off.

Looks good. Thanks for sharing it with us. Just curious what are you thinking of for a replacement handle?

I woke up this morning thinking about the handle! I think I will cut a circle about the size of a quarter, then cut it in half, and Maybe cut some scroll design in it then glut it on with the flat side against the box lid. Ill post another pic when I get it done.

Well, I got out in the shop today and sanded the little ugly handle off the slider box and cut this one our of Red Cedar to replace it. I think it made the box look a lot better.
