Default Finished my Band Saw Box

I bought a new band saw last week and started reading about how to use it and found a lot of info on Band Saw Boxes so I had to try one. It made out of Birch Ply Wood. I glued 6 pieces of 3/4" together and started cutting. Its 6 12" X 5" and
Before I made the one with the band saw I decided to make one with the scroll saw. I had a piece of Poplar 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" X 3 1/2" Long so the smaller one is the Scroll Saw version.

A new toy - how FUN! It certainly didn't take you any time at all to make beautiful things with it! I like both versions!

Paul, I did my own patterns! I couldn't find any patternd so I just looked at a bunch of them online and took some graph paper and drew my own and I'm not an artest by any means. I did buy a set of French Curve tools at Woodcraft for $10.00 and that made it a lot easier to lay them out. I've made about 8 boxes since I started and they area blast to make. If you havea bandsaw give it a try.
