This project is the brother of the "Orb" I posted a couple of months ago... it is made from 4 half-bowls (poplar) but oriented "inside out" compared to the other. In these pics, it is sanded very smooth, but no finish has been applied. It got a 4th Place ribbon at the SAW Expo in the Open_Complex category. Spence |

Must have been some pretty tough competition or some uninformed judges for that to only receive a 4th. I can't imagine trying to cut the bowls in half and gluing them back together so perfectly. Great work, Pat

I'm inspired... I haven't even begun to make bowls yet. I do have Carole's books, just not enough time/courage. I Love what you've done here...!!!!! Very nice...!!!
