Default mini birdhouses

here’s some of Diana Thompson’s mini birdhouse patterns….woods used were pine, poplar, & cedar…cut with FD-P #3’s…some were finished with Minwax stain colors of; sedona red, gunsmith, cherry, red mahogany, & grey…cedar was dipped in Minwax polyurethane…most birds were painted with enamel colors (plastic modeling paint ‘all i have atm’)…i cut a few more, but haven’t finished them due to a custom order, and the hot GA weather

WD, the first set of these i made, were mostly given away….so i made this batch for that horse thingy the wife had first of this month, and like i told w-n-t, i did cut a few more, but, according to w-n-t’s words…i’m ‘sidetracked’ atm due to a custom cut i’m starting in the morning if it’s cool enuff, and, after that custom order, i’ll be starting on ornaments for Christmas

Nice Tim, these remind me of the mosquito house I got from my son in Sweden.

oily, hate to disappoint you again…..no “Buggy Days” booth again this year….no, not due to any accidents from horses….kinda having it a lil ruff rite now with funds, due to not having sold the house in Thomaston yet (where we lived before moving here)….justa bit of hard luck going on here atm….and the only ‘real’ inventory i have ARE the mini’s….hardly enuff of anything to make any $$’s on…and that custom order, ain’t even started cutting on it yet….holes are drilled, but not cutting yet…..2 more weeks, and school will be back in session….maybe i’ll have some time in the shop…..after 2 1/2 months of wife being home……smiles
