Default Ginger jar and beaded tray fair entries done!

After a frustrating weekend trying to get some other projects started I decided to finish a couple. I was feeling pretty discouraged about my work and whining to Carole Rothman earlier and she said "All you need is one project to go right and you'll feel good about your work again." Well she was right!! I am pretty happy with these two!!

This is a special beaded tray. The top small beads in the middle row (both sides) are from my grandma's earrings. The small turquoise beads on the outside rows are from Kent's sister, Phyllis's necklace. She passed away about 4 years ago from cancer.

The jar is a little wonky on one side, but that's ok I can live with it.

The wood kind of changes color when turned. I like this white color better. Kent likes the swirled colors better.

Thanks for looking!!

Beautiful work, Cathy. The lacewood? tray is awesome, as is the jar. I can't see any wonk, wonky, or any other flaw. Good luck at the fair!

Both projects are wonderful! I'm most intrigued by the beaded tray -- I'd never have thought of something like that but it's really beautiful and a very clever idea! Great work!
