Default Bunny Time

The idea for my Bunny Dish came from two other projects. Diana Thompson created a Easter Bunny Dish that has a 3-D bunny sitting on the side of the dish. Rippersmom then added a lid with a bunny on top. I liked both of these ideas and I thought that I could practice my inlay skills by creating a bunny in the lid. That idea was actually turned into a segmentation project. Here are some pictures of my Bunny Dish, which is just a little late for Easter:

Sweeeet project Tango, and that is why I always like to see project photos, they give food for thought. Great collaboration of ideas.

Hi Donna - that's a cute little box you've made and I like how you adapted the ideas of the originals to come up with this one. Well done!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I don't get the opportunity to finish a lot of projects because I spend too much time at work. When I get something finished, I do try to share some photos. I really appreciate how everyone shares their projects and ideas. As you can see, I do read the posts, which have helped me develop my own scrollsaw skills & create new idea.

Frieke - Thanks for the comment on my painting. I found this glaze, which is called 'Pearl Luster Medium'. It formed a nice hazy finish and improved the appearance of my "not so great" paint job.

Thanks Nancy & your Great idea just helped me come up with the design.
Oh and also Jim's tutorial on Inkscape helped me learn how to create the design.
See I do learn alot from this Forum
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. It's my 14th wedding anniversary. So after a 1/2 day at work, I get to start my weekend. We're going camping. I hope that the weatherman is wrong and the temps get above the 50's.
