Default Cherry and Walnut Bandsaw Box

Made another bandsaw box.

Like was stated before around here, these things are habit forming. This is another "peanut" box, same pattern as I posted before, just a little taller. Size is 7.5" by 4.25" by 4" deep.

Wood is cherry, walnut and a little bit of oak. Finish in tung oil.

Last two pictures: Since I hated to throw away the drawer interior, I found a use for it as well. Used my scroll saw for most of that project.

PS, I use 100% tung oil, does anybody have any hints on getting a semi-gloss finish on it? The mat finish looks good, just would like a little more shine without using some additional oil product.

Another nice looking box Ron, and I like the small one as well.

Great looking band-saw box. And then, what did you do with the drawer interior of the
second box? Hmmmm? LOL!

Thnaks WD. Second box was just a thought while I was looking for a scrap to make the matching handle from.

Love the final product. By using the contrasting woods and the flowing curves the final product is just beautiful. And I like the soft look of the finish. Personally, I feel that too much gloss detracts from the beauty of the wood.
