Default Molar Bowl

The forum keeps reminding me I haven't post in a while. So to shut the damn thing up I am doing so. Here is a bowl I designed. It is called a Molar bowl because it looks like a tooth. Make one for you dentist. Use a piece of wood with a knot and tell him (or her) it's a cavity! Great for halloween candy. It is 7" wide so it will fir of a 1 by 8.

Dave

ps I have included the Polydraw data if anybody wants to play with the pattern.

Definitely has your distinctive touch, Dave.

I'd suggest curved sides (increase the angle for each ring) to maximize the "toothiness". If anyone needs help figuring out how to do that, just let me know.

Still using PolyDraw--please do NOT terminate the site--it's just tooo good.

Very cool pattern. I think I might try this one for halloween. What would the 1/4" bevel be in degrees on the scroll saw? Thanx. Don

It depends how thick the wood is. Go to ScrollMania! and try the angle calculator

I have often wondered what happened to you.
Glad you are back posting.

There are five or six tutorials there. Carole helped me edit them so I believe they are clear and understandable.
