Default Off center lamintation bowl

I miscalculated the center point. I was thinking 8x8, but the lamitation side comes out to eight and 1/4. Needless to say I was a little disappointed in the outcome, but I will just chalk it up to experience.
I also found that with the thinner sides it is very hard to hide mistakes such as drill marks and glue.

Next will be the Eight Segmented Bowl.

I made some bracelets and on one of them I did the same thing, but it came out OK.
Your bowl looks fine to me.

Looks very nice, and if you don't tell anyone, no one will even notice the slight off-centeredness. And your cutting and sanding came out very well, especially for a more demanding project. I think you'll find the 8-segmented bowl easy by comparison, once you get it glued up. Be sure to sand each part flat before you glue them up so they will bond together well, and you should breeze right through it. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

If you had not told us that you miscalculated the measurement one can not tell. Great job on the bowl

Just tell people you did it intentionally, and no one will know you didn't mean to. It looks great, off-center and all.

Sweeeet cut timbopete, if anyone catches the adjustment, just tell them the bowl is bigger on one side than the other, so it can hold bigger stuff on that side. End of story.
