Default My first bandsaw box.

Made with walnut and maple with birds eye maple for the drawer pull. I used Minwax gloss wipe on poly for the finish and lined the compartments with blue velvet. I can't make very big ones as I only have a 10" table top with a maximum cutting height of about 4 1/4". Size is about 9 1/2"L x 4" x 4". I used the drawer cutouts to make a template for the linings.

Shiny! The two woods set each off well and the blue interior's a great accent.

If that's your first, I can't wait to see what you do when you get the hang of it!

Nice job! You'll be wanting a bigger bandsaw soon.

Thanks all for the comments. The next one will be 3 layers of maple and 2 layers of walnut.

Merle, there is a flocking product that you can spray into the drawers. Much easier to use than a pattern. Most of the scroll catalogs sell it. You might want to give some a try.
