Default First Ever Complete Chess Set

IT'S DONE!!!

Well almost, the cutting and finishing is done. I have to put the felt bottoms on them, and am thinking hard about getting pool table felt for that. It's built to take more abuse.

I have also included a picture of all th pieces I've cut for prototypes, and the "Canterbury" themed canarywood pieces.

Looks great. I would suggest you cut and finish at least one extra of each of the pieces in each wood, because sooner or later, ones bound to get dropped. It looks like one of the maple ones has a chip in it already??? They do look nice though. Dale

Really nice Chess Set. I wouldn't worry about special felt, regular felt works quite well.
