New Way To Use Your Scroll Saw

If you have a floor model drill press , you might like this idea.

I needed to be able to adjust the height on my scroll saw so my grand kids could use it comfortably. I also wanted my saw table to be horizontal while sawing at an angle.

I mounted my saw on a plywood platter with two cleats underneath spaced to the width of my drill press table. When mounted, the saw table height can be adjusted by raising or lowering the drill press table. When I want to saw on an angle,

New DeWalt for my Birthday

Hi all,

Well, I've been deliberating the expense of a new scroll saw for awhile now. Went to the Grizzly site and they seem to have the best price so I sent my mom my "wish list" and she said she'd send me the bucks for a saw

We were out and about yesterday and I popped into our local Home Improvement store and saw the price had gone up considerably. (Was $459 - now $549) YIKES!! I started talking to the guy and he said DeWalt had raised their prices

Buffalo Box Part 2-The glue-up

In my first installment I showed the steps to cut and prep the stock for the custom keepsake box.
This installment shows the steps to glue -up the box and cut the lid.
I begin by gluing in the accent strips on all of the box sides. I am using Holly strips that I sized 1/4" wide by 1/8" thick

I use CA glue and tap them in place.

Once the glue has set up I use a small flex-blade saw to trim the ends...
