I started scrolling quite a few years ago.
I live in a townhouse and one of my neighbours, Roy Brown, a retired gentleman came to visit, He asked if I had any hobbies. At the time two of my hobbies were listeing to the Shortwave Radio and playing on the computer.
He informed me they were not "real" hobbies and said he would be right back.
10 minutes later he returned with a Delta 2 speed 16" scrollsaw, some blades, wood and patterns.

Cinderella's Coach

I have been asked to design a Cinderella Coach for placing envelopes in at a wedding.
I did some searching and found a few online.

The first is a bit pricey $75,000
But then again it is made of wood and is quite a unique piece.

The next one was much cheaper

I have been reading about these devices for some time now.
Anyone who has used a bicycle pump will know that when air is compressed it can get quite warm.

Most are not sure just how warm.
How about 800 degrees or more!

Before the invention of the match, there was another way to start fires, the fire piston.
I have seen many designs now and they all work on exactly the same principle.
A pice of charred cloth is placed in a small cavity at the bottom...

The lowly Altoids tin

I don't know how many of you have Altoids tins around. They seem to be a handy size for many things. I have one in the car I keep change in. Few people break into cars for mints, yet change seems to attract eyes.

I was surfing one of my favorite sites this evening and I thought I would look up some uses for Altoid tins

The first is a nice paint tray. It could be useful for scrollers.

Next was a little fume extractor, it reminded me of the dust collectors...
