I need to make some gingerbread corner trim for the posts on our veranda.
I bought one to use as a sample but it`s too plane and I`m now looking for a more elaborate pattrern. Can anybody lead me in the right derection here.
Many thanks

| Gingerbread trim
Thanks Smitty,
Yes I tried that first also. Lots of sites want to sell their gingerbread trim. Challenge is finding a site that will sell you a pattern or still better find a site that will let you download trim patterns for free ( am I dreaming here?)
But thanks again for the quick reply,

| Perhaps you might find something satisfactory if you browse through some scroll saw mags or books for candle sconces. Of course, you'd need to enlarge the patterns!

| Here is a link Here is a link to a Gingerbread Fretwork supplier called Empire WoodworksThey have some really nice designs there.
I have had one of their catalogs before and the selection is awesome.
Most of the brackets have little black and white pictures so you can compair designs.

| ISBN 0806974524, $8 bucks on Amazon, has exactly what you're looking for.

| Wow, the US dollar must be BACK!
I have a copy of that book from the library, and it's good, but not worth $78 in any currency!
The patterns are quite similar to shelf patterns, like Gill pointed out.

The only book I ever paid over 70CAD was a plant encylopedia - but then it has over 1000 pages in full colour. Only problem is that it nearly takes a forklift truck to pick up the darn thing - it definitely isn't bedtime reading unless you want to risk concussion if you drop off to sleep...
