Default help making a hub with slots

Hi,

I am in the process of making a candle pyramid. I would like to make a hub that has slots for the fan blades to go in at about 27-28 degrees. The fan is pretty small and I would like to keep the hub around 1 1/2 - 1 inch in diameter. I have seen these made but don't exactly know how to do them on the scroll saw. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this or where I might be able to find directions? I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

You will have to tilt the table on your scrollsaw to get the angle you want.
Good luck, you can do it.......and we would love to see photos when you "get er done".

Default Work in progress

Thanks. I hope it is as easy as you make it sound. I wasn't really looking forward to trying to drill 8 holes in the 1/2 inch hub. I have attached a photo of my work in progess. Just the fan assembly left.
