Default latest cuts

here are some cuts I have done lately. I know, they are amateurish and all hack but i am learning from all this.
Constructive criticism always welcome.

You're doing fine! There's no greater teacher than experience. It's unrealistic to expect anyone to be a pro when they are just learning the basics. Stick with it and you'll hone your skills in no time.

You are doing fine, we all had to go through the learning process and as Mike says, there is no substitute for experience. I have a student I am teaching, she had never seen a scroll saw two months ago and now she is producing work I would be proud to have on my craft stall so stick with it and it will get better and better the more sawdust you make.

Amateur somehow denotes a bad thing, just think of it as a beginner learning the ropes!

Hi!

We all were "newbies" to scrolling when we started out. You are doing fine, and cutting silhouettes is exactly what I did when learning to scroll. Keep practicing and before you know it you will be creating great pieces.

Oh, I think you're being too self-critical - the cuttings are really done nicely! Will you put a finish on these pieces?

Yes, I will be finishing them with different stains and varnish or something. They are nothing that I could sell but I'm working on it. Two and a half more school weeks then I can cut all day, well, as long as the money holds out anyway. I am hoping that I will be able to make some good cuts soon.
There are so many things I want to try but I think I have to get some basic cuts down first using scrap. By, scrap I mean, what I can afford and/or get free.
I need to get some real blades and hope to order them this weekend. Last weekend I determined that I have to get used to the pinless blades and so all the cuts were with plain ends. I didn't like it because of the bother but I stayed with it and am getting a little better with it now. I have a line on a better saw that will make it easier and hope to make the buy soon. First though I have to get past this part. My thinking is "if I can do it the hard way, when I get a better saw it will be a snap".
I'll be posting more as I go along and you guys have been a great help. Sometimes I need the encouragement.
