On most of the fretwork I do I have a backing for it. The project is glued to the backing, (wood, felt, cardboard, etc) then I will glue the broken piece in place. You will be the only one to see it. Good luck

Some good advice there for you. I would also stack cut 3 or 4 pieces of wood when doing intricate fretwork. This has two advantages. The blade is easier to control in thicker wood and you have the added bonus of more than one picture as a result. I always cut the delicate inner cuts first and if need be, put tape across when they are cut to stabilise them until finished. Shame about the breakage, your cutting looks great. Get the glue out, you have nothing to lose. I've repaired pieces several times and as they said before, only you will know. Good luck and keep posting your pics for us.
