Red face My first projects!

Hi everyone! Finally got some projects done. These are some patterns I had gotten glued up a while back. I've only broken 2 blades so far. I'm getting more confident now so I'm really getting busy. Going to do some Mother's Day projects for the end of April for a sort-of bazaar/parking lot sale at a co-op in Corinne. Bye for now. Oh, almost forgot, going to do some Easter projects first.

Mary

Ma is right you are off to a good start. Where did you find the pattern for that mangy alley cat? That is adorable?

They look better than my first project.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Mary,

You have a good start...keep going! You did a nice job for your first projects and it will be fun to save these pictures and then come back in a few months and see the progress you make! Good luck at your craft show.

BTW, I lived in Layton, Utah for 40 years! We wanted out of the snow and ice and COOOOOLD weather, so we retired and moved to AZ.

Hi wood-n-things. I got this pattern, alley cat, from "Fun and Easy Scroll Saw Projects" by: Patrick Spielman, page 90. It's also the same page as the other cat and the dog.

Books by Patrick Spielman is a good source for patterns, and you have done a really good job with these.

By the way: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

(Had a look at your profile - the closest I've been to your area is Vernal.)

Well done Mary, they are great. That was the first book I ever had on scrolling when my wife bought it for me. There are some nice starter patterns in it. You have done the patterns great service.
