Hi all, this is my first post, new to scroll saws. I am cutting out a freted clock face from 1/8in ply and have a small gouge I need to fill, can I mix some of the saw dust with pva glue or is there a better way? Malc. |

I think the saw dust with the glue is the best to fill up things. Welcome aboard!

Malc. if the gouge is not too deep try thinning some Elmer's white glue with water, apply to gouge then sand over it. The gouge should fill up with the sanding dust. Let it dry over night then sand over it very lightly. Good luck with it.

We come Malcermie to the MB always nice to have new people aboard. The Avie is as ubgoofy and the others stated with the glue. The only thing you may find if you try to stain your piece is that the glue may not take on the stain as much as the wood. If others have any advice I will be listening. jim form Ontario |
