Listen to Sappy, also make sure to use beeswax to lubricate the blade it will cut far easier, and the blades will last longer. you can find the SMALL cakes of beeswax at most stores that sell candle making supplies............

At one time Hawk had a drip attachment and I believe diamond coated blades for cutting glass. Many years ago I cut the end off a conch shell with a hacksaw. It was very difficult and used a lot of blades. The shells are made of calcium cabonate. In nature a soft form of this is limestone. Under heat and pressure nature makes marble.
