Default Picking the right fonts

Hi
First post here.

While I've been waiting for different parts to arrive, I've made a start in Paint Shop Pro getting used to making my own designs. One problem is getting the right font's to add into the design.

As an example of what I was looking for, does any one here get Steve Goods Newsletters as there's a design of a "Dynamite Clock" a couple of days ago which had exactly what I was looking for but didn't know what that type of font was called.

Great site for us new scrollers.

Many thanks.

Michael.

Michael,

Oh dang another MIKE...Inside joke.

Welcome to the board.
I do get that letter and you might just send Steve a message and he may very well remember and tell you what font it is...

Michael

Have you tried using Identifont it is an online font search you just answer a few questions to help narrow it down here is a link Identifont - Identify fonts by appearance, find fonts by name

Good luck

That's like using a dictionary to look up word you can't spell to begin with...

Thanks for the replies lads

I've now emailed Steve and asked for the font name. I was shy of asking because I'd only just started recieving the newsletter last week and didn't want to seem too pushy if you know what I mean.

Coming here, where everybody uses a scroll saw, would give me a few ideas in narrowing down the huge amount of fonts out there on the net. Anyway I'll await Steve's reply.

Thanks a lot.

LOL

Oh come on Mike.

Michael that is the best way. There are just to many fonts. The link above might get you close but it is still a challenge to get the exact match. Good Luck with it.

Steve is really good (no pun intended ) about getting e-mails - but he gets so many sometimes it takes awhile for him to answer. I did look at the piece - and it could be cooper black with stretching I have corel 8 (very old yes, but hey - so am I and I work )...
