Smile (788) One smooth machine

I started making some sawdust and all I can say is the Dewalt 788 is one fine running machine, no vibration quiet and cuts anything and it is so easy to change blades. I installed the Easy lift and it works great I wouldn't be with out it and it only cost $20.00, My foot switch from my old Craftsman works great, I also tillted it up about 3 inches and man does that make cutting a lot more comfortable and all these suggestions I got from this forum Thanks to everyone who made these suggestions to me. I even got my shop a little dirty but I have to admitt I did stop 15 miuntes early to clean up. One more thing I tried the FD blades from Mike's Workshop and they are terrific I will use nothing else. That Mike is one nice guy I tried to give him a gift as he is a Cancer survivor like myself and you know what he did? He sent me some free blades I can't thank him enough he is a real gentleman. Thanks again guys & gals, now I have to get cutting. Have a nice day everyone.

Ahh yes, you are seeing the good side of life now...or as the beer guy says. "Yes, Dr Mudd my man,you ARE living the high life!"
There is one flaw in what your doing though.... That last 15 minutes could have been better spent making a few more cuts!! BTW, where in WI are you? Im in Racine County.

I live in Manitowoc WI. I will try and work a little longer but I still need to clean up when I am done for the day. I will try and cut it down to 5 minutes.

Dr Mudd
Some how I think the clean up part of the day you had to come up with yourself. ( not a suggestion from this forum )
Cause the only time I ever read about some cleaning up on this form is when they can no longer get to the saw!

You are intirely correct I did not get that suggestion from the forum I have been doing it this way for years, sometimes I make a mess but I just like to keep things clean.

I know you would love the 788 but from what I see you are doing pretty good with what you are using now. Keep up the good work and thanks for the well wishes.
