Default How can I get a user's manual?

Hi everyone!! We just "inherited" a scroll saw, feel like I've won the lottery. We have wanted one for a while, but didn't have the spare $$$. Unfortunate thing is that it came without an instruction manual or instructor so we are on our own. We can figure out how to turn it on but that is about it. It's a Sears Craftsman, single speed, maybe about 10 years old. I can't find a model # on it anywhere. Any ideas on how to get a manual for this? Is there anywhere on line one can be downloaded?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Have you tried the sears web site. Maybe if they show the different models you can pick yours out. and they should also have manuals.

how about posting a picture of the saw so we can maybe tell what model it is. Thru my experience with craftsman tools that are not being sold anymore, the chance is that they do not have manuals or parts for them anymore. Good luck to you......Mike

Watching my dad try and get parts and service on craftsman tools from sears taught me to stay away from them. He had a belt sander that only used a weird belt size that only sears sold. I also worked in an appliance store and saw first hand the crap sears pulled.

Usually the websites will have manuals that you can download. Not sure if Sears does or not.

Ocean : If for any reason that you find a model or serial number on the saw, or just maybe this will help. http:Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears Parts Direct | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears 1-800-252-1698 Good luck Marshall
