Default Scroll Saw Blades

I have done a little bit of fretwork or scollsawing so I am still very much a beginner. I have one or two Fret/Scroll Saws which I have used the 'fret saw' blades in; pinned or not. I have just aquired one that will take the longer (5")pinned Coping Saw blades.
I have seen someone using a 'Diamond' Scroll Saw with apparentley 'Coping Saw' blades for cutting designs in 'thick' wood. I was wondering what types of blades others use for thicker wood; say 1 1/2".

After experimenting with all different blade types and blade manufacturer I've settled on Flying Dutchman #9 FD-SR or #12 FD-SR's. Both of these are pinless type skip reverse-tooth blades. There are some who recommend just a straight skip-tooth configuration as the thought is that the reverse-teeth will cause some problems with sawdust build-up. I just take my time and haven't had an issue with that. I've cut up to 2" hardwoods with these blades without a problem.
