My questions will be many in the future. but here are a few

Hi.
1. This forum can help you tremendously. This book Scroll Saw Workbook 2nd Edition: Learn to Use Your Scroll Saw in 25 Skill-Building Chapters is a great book if you need something to read when not online.
2. Many techniques to use.I apply clear packing tape directly on the wood, then use 3M spray adhesive on the back of the pattern and stick that to the taped surface.Works for me.
3.Mike's Workshop English featuring: my life story, a cancer survivor, scrollsawing samples and tips, community service, list of favorite sites and Flying Dutchman fretsaw blades for sale. has plenty of blade info for you to get started with, also there is a beginners blade FAQ's thread on this message board that will help as well.
4. Many places to buy wood online. A few being Peterson's Custom Lumber and Quality Lumber at Affordable Prices! Hardwood Lumber for all your woodworking needs! and Sloan's Woodshop - " The Scroll Saw Store "
And, Rick's Scrollsaw I agree, is one of the best places to look up anything scrolling related!
